Within a rather short amount of time the Teenage Mutants has reached respectable heights, and there are several promising releases ready for launch this year on labels such as Off Recordings, Nervous and Stil Vor Talent. This all lead to collaborations with the likes of Oliver Koletzki, Round Table Knights, Andre Crom, Kellerkind, and Malente, and performances all over the World.
Teenage Mutants are now set to enter your area, to restore order on the dance floor, and to once for all get rid of bad influences such as tediousness, caution, and soberness. In order to adhere to these restitution’s, we were able to catch up for a quick chat with the man himself.
Firstly how did you come up with the name? And which ninja turtle is your favourite if that’s related?
It has nothing to do with the Turtles! The name was an Idea of a good friend of mine an me. We started the project some years ago together. And we gonna be back together 2015.
How’s the European summer been for you thus far, which has to be the stand out party of the tour?
I played a lot of Open Air Festivals. But the best one is ‘SONNE MOND UND STERNE’ in Germany. Really great Location on a Sea. A lot of crazy people and great Party.
And so what song do you find yourself playing the most?
Sailor & I – Turn Around (AME Remix)
Have you been to Australia before? And what are you expecting/most looking forward to?
No it is my first time. I only know it from TV. Hope it looks the same 🙂
And lastly what does the future hold – any release dates for the much anticipated album?
The album is still in progress. I hope to finish it early 2015 and release it in September 2015. Not easy to create something new at the moment. A lot of DJ Gigs and Hangovers.
