ZedEppelin is Melbournian composer Zoltan Fecso.
Making noises on a toy synth (as most toddlers do) his parents saw it as a sign and hastily enrolled him into classical piano.
Living in Budapest at the time, an education in the arts was obligatory.
Moving with his parents to suburban Melbourne in his early teens, he removed himself from the classical piano program and by 15, was soaking up the pub-rock scene playing electric guitar.
It was this exposure to live performance changed everything…
With guitar taking over after 8 years of piano, Zoltan’s goal is to integrate instrumental performance with this newly found electronic world that he has grown to love.
It is with a self-designed Acoustic Guitar & Novation Launchpad hybrid instrument that he hopes to revive the art of true live performance in electronic music.
Completed in February 2014, the hybrid guitar was hand built by legendary lutheir Ian Noyce, starting a journey into the possibilities in live electronic performance!
