Phil Kieran is no stranger to Australian audiences, and he clearly loves it Down Under. The Irishman visits us regularly and he always brings a different flavour to the table: Who can forget that time he played at Revolver with a 12-piece chamber orchestra?
He is an elder statesman of not only the Belfast techno scene, but also the global scene. His gritty and carefully executed production style is reminiscent of the artists he so admires, and it has enabled him to collaborate with some of the biggest names in the game such as David Holmes and Gary Numan.
Check out his latest release on his own Phil Kieran Recordings, the three track EP ‘World War Four’. An ominous release filled with the sort of techno that upon hearing can cause street fights. We of course don’t condone fighting, but this is pretty damn tasty.
Don’t miss out on his return!
