Three Reasons Why Andhim Are Killing It

Andhim has been in the game for a while, their music has had millions of streams online and they tend to keep going from strength to strength.

In recent years the duo has found themselves with a growing Australian audience and scored a number of our festival appearances which include Rainbow Serpent Beyond The Valley Festival. Looking forwards their upcoming tour is arguably their biggest yet with slots at Strawberry Fields, Subsonic and LUFT all lined up.

So what makes Andhim so popular? We drilled it down to three key points:

On-stage charisma

A big part of being a DJ is the performance aspect. Have you ever seen these guys not smiling? Me either. They interact with their audience, breaking down the wall and lowering their ego to the level of the punter, and the people love it (even if there are blowjob gestures involved).

Off-stage mischief

Being an off-stage/online personality is almost as important as writing good music (some people would argue it’s more important, ghostwriter anyone?). No matter how much you may dislike the element that social media plays in fame today, it’s still a fact of life. So what are you going to do? Get upset about it or roll with the punches and join the movement? We suggest the latter.

Bangers

On-stage and off-stage personality sure is important, but it doesn’t matter how charismatic or animated you may be, if you’re banging pots together and asking Cocoon for a record deal, you’ve probably got another thing coming.

Andhim’s success is at the foremost, their ability to write big tunes. From their early begging’s with tracks like ‘Wine and Chocolates’, ‘Boy Boy Boy’ and ‘Walkmen’ to their latest offerings such as ‘Stay Close To Me’ and ‘Amene’, there’s no doubt they’re a powerhouse – “super” even.
